As I celebrated the 4th of July with my family I reflected a bit about the current state of the world. I am blessed to be able to live in a country where I’m still relatively safe to go about my day however I want and I get to enjoy countless freedoms that many others aren’t able to. 

We were all red, white and blue over at the Smith household this year and the new Stars & Stripes product line from Tommee Tippee fit right in. Available right now exclusively in-store at Babies R Us but scheduled to be available in Target in late July is a wonderful collection of pacifiers, tumblers and sippy cups with a distinctive patriotic theme.

My youngest has been enjoying his new pacifier. I think he is teething and he’s been chewing away on the thing as if his life depended on it.

He has also made his choice for president this year very clear. I must say, I think it’s a wise choice!

The other big hit around our house these days is the Tommee Tippee Straw Tumbler.  My kids have to take turns using it because they are convinced it makes the water taste better. I’m pretty sure the tumbler has no effect on the taste of the water but it definitely helps makes them look patriotic.

As the summer heats up, it’s important for them to stay hydrated so I’m happy they are eager to drink from their new tumbler. Now if I can just get them to eat their vegetables….
