Ah it’s that time again, possibly my favorite holiday. Thanksgiving. I love spending some relaxing time with family, eating great food and not having to stress out about buy gifts for anyone. It’s a low stress, carefree holiday and it marks the beginning of the Christmas season. Which, after all, is the most wonderful time of the year. Or so I’m told. Thanksgiving in North Florida also means rivalry week.
So while I’m busy being thankful I’m also gearing up for the annual showdown between my beloved Florida Gators and that other school in the Florida panhandle that’s hardly worth me mentioning its name. It’s funny that their mascot, the Seminole, is an Indian and the Indians helped the pilgrims on the first thanksgiving. But I have no love for these particular Indians on this particular week. As far as I’m concerned, if you’re not a Gator, you’re Gator Bait!
Ok well enough of my ranting. On this week’s edition of Playground Interviews I talked with my kids about Thanksgiving and our college football rivalry. Enjoy.
From our family to yours, we wish you the Happiest of Thanksgivings!
Good luck on your Gators, man they have been tough to stomach the last couple of weeks!
Yeah, I’m not feeling really good about this game. You’re right, we’ve looked terrible as of late.
Happy Thanksgiving Gary!
You to pal, Happy Thanksgiving to the five six of you and the plus one :).
Happy Thanksgiving, Sunshine Dad and family! Adorable video as always! I’m not a football fan but you’ve gotten me into the spirit! Go Gators! 115 points for sure!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving and may this holiday bring joy, love and happiness to your table!
Greetings from NYC!

Thank you Lia! I hope you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving too. 115 points seems a rather lofty goal but we can always hope right? Ha
