What Do My Kids Hate About me?

I’ve been throwing around the idea of adding more audio/video content to the site here and I’ve decided to try out an idea for a series called “Playground Interviews.” Where I talk to my kids (ideally on the playground) about issues or topics and get their answers. The idea would be to ask them deep or philosophical questions and see how a child would answer (hopefully humorously). Admittedly, my first question isn’t all that deep or philosophical.

Well, give a watch and let me know what you think. The kids were a bit goof-bally, hopefully after a few more they will settle down. I might have better luck getting them one-on-one as well instead of all together.

Thanks for listening, let me know what you think about the future of Playground Interviews. Does anyone have any ideas for possible questions I could ask my kids?

Have a great day. If you have a second I’d appreciate your vote here as a Top Dad Blogger.

  1. so much cuteness in one video! You have beautiful children! I Did an interview with my two recently. I love how Ellas least favorite thing about you is you making breakfast- I take it youre a bad breakfast maker haha!

  2. Adorable!! I watched while riding the subway and literally laughed out loud several times! Especially with the video game answer! Your kids are so sweet and they love you so much … Breakfast skills included I’m sure!
Maybe a question posed to them about their favorite meal you cook for them? And perhaps least? My mom always made me liver and onions in hopes of eat it… But to no avail!
Keep up the great work in making us smile!!

      1. Indeed she would try to pass off the liver and onions on me with bribes, sneaky tactics and hidden pieces under pasta! I never fell for any of it:)! Look forward to your next video ! So cute 🙂 All is well here, thanks!

  3. Love this so much! Playground interviews should be a complete series! This is so cute, you should a tag! You are such a sweet Dad, I love that you guys play video games and your kids told you they love you! Thanks for linking up to #brilliantblogposts

  4. Oh I loved this – your kids are just adorable and all their goofing around made me laugh. I loved the crazy dance and breakfast and video games featuring on both the favourite and least favourite things about Daddy. Cooper’s list of favourite things about you is so sweet too. Thank you for linking up to #ftmob and will look forward to the next episode of Playground Interviews – what a great idea 🙂
