Yes , Yes, I know. Mother’s Day was nearly a week ago. I’m a little behind on my video editing and uploading. My apologies. My kids wanted to talk about their mom and they decided they should do it on the couch so it would be more special for her. I had a little chat with them about not being so crazy and they mostly listened.
As they’ve started doing lately, the boys told me they wanted to do a playground interview and then they got all crazy. What is it about a camera that makes kids lose their minds? Actually plenty of adults lose their minds in front of cameras too. I think entire TV shows are based around this idea.
Anyhow, in our latest edition our friendly backyard snake dropped by to pay us a visit. I think he’s a black racer. We see him a few times a year. We let him be and he minds his own business for the most part. We ought to name him at this point.
Enjoy our ramblings about words we aren’t allowed to say.
Today is the all boy edition of Playground Interviews. The ladies were out shopping so the boys had run of the house. After a little bit of debate the boys decided to discuss what they love about being brothers. I hope you enjoy and we wish you a wonderful week.
Here is the latest episode from our playground. I actually filmed it the same day as episode 5 in case you are wondering why we are all wearing the same clothes. It’s hard to have a serious conversation with these 4 crazy kids. And there is something about a camera that makes kids lose their minds.
Oh well, here it is. I hope you enjoy it. Have a great week!
Happy Friday everyone! After a lengthy time away, playground interviews have returned. This week I asked my kids to help me make an instructional video. I didn’t bother to tell them what we were going to be instructing about. I had to have my oldest son operate the camera so I could have both hands free. Forgive his poor cinematography, he’s only 6.
This was easily my favorite video to date. Please use my tips and pointers to make your own video and share it with me on Facebook (or wherever). I can’t wait to see it if you do! Enjoy!
Ah it’s that time again, possibly my favorite holiday. Thanksgiving. I love spending some relaxing time with family, eating great food and not having to stress out about buy gifts for anyone. It’s a low stress, carefree holiday and it marks the beginning of the Christmas season. Which, after all, is the most wonderful time of the year. Or so I’m told. Thanksgiving in North Florida also means rivalry week. Continue reading Happy Thanksgiving, beat the Noles→
The 3rd installment of Playground Interviews has finally arrived. In this episode we discuss our outrage that Starbucks has red cups for Christmas and the kids weigh in on their choices for the 2016 presidential race. This is a political debate unlike any you’ve ever heard. I promise.
