Man oh man, things have been tough lately. I don’t really know why but they have. Ok, well, I do know why they’ve been tough. It’s because we have 5 kids. But when I say “things have been tough” what I really mean is “tougher than our normal baseline tough.”

There is always something to do for school, something to do around the house, around the yard, some event to get to, some birthday party etc. etc. multiplied by 5. Some days it’s a bit overwhelming and I just lock myself in my room and stare at the wall while the kids try to break the door down with pick axes.
